NATO leaders sought to project unity at their summit, agreeing on a joint declaration reaffirming the alliance’s collective defense commitment.

But US President Donald Trump stirred controversy by criticizing allies over Iran and repeating claims that Greenland should be under US control, drawing a sharp response from Denmark.

The summit also highlighted continued support for Ukraine, with new military commitments and €140 billion in promised aid, although divisions remain over how that support should be funded.
