The decision allows the Trump administration to move forward with ending Temporary Protected Status, a program that has allowedHaitiansto live and work legally in the US since the 2010 earthquake. Business owners fear losing long-time employees, while many TPS holders worry about deportation, detention and returning to a country they say remains unsafe.
