Helicopter pilot, Bibek Khadka, has told the BBC that families with missing loved ones due to Nepal’s deadly flash floods have been reaching out to him for help.
More than 1,000 people have died and another 4,000 are missing after catastrophic flash floods along the Nepal-Tibet border a week ago.
Captain Khadka, who has previously worked in disaster rescue missions, has been scouring affected areas with his team to search for survivors, but he said he’s found the balance between emotions and professionalism to be hard.
