US President Donald Trump’s United Nations confronted CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, saying “you should not be here covering me”. CNN was granted access to report from inside the United Nations General Assembly, but the latest confrontation comes after CNN, MS NOW and Politico sued Trump on Monday, alleging he banned them from the White House grounds without warning or justification. In response, the US Justice Department has filed documents that accuse the three media outlets of “trafficking in verifiable falsehoods” and reporting which “threatened national security” as it prepared to defend the move in court.
