LivestreamMenuGoldman Sachs said there are still plenty of stocks to buy even as market uncertainty continues. The Wall Street investment bank says companies including Expedia offer plenty of upside. Other buy-rated stocks that Goldman Sachs recommends and that were screened by CNBC Pro include Hyatt Hotels , Huntington Ingalls Industries and Chime . Huntington Ingalls Industries The shipbuilder is firing on all cylinders, analyst Noah Poponak said recently. “HII reported double-digit revenue growth, margins ahead of consensus and up [year-over-year], and free cash flow ahead of consensus,” Poponak wrote following earnings. The bank says demand for ships remains robust and the stock is too cheap to ignore. “We are Buy rated on the stock and it is on the Americas Conviction List,” he said, adding that clients should keep accumulating shares. The stock is down 15% this year. Mastercard Shares of the payment company have plenty more room to run, analyst Will Nance wrote following Mastercard’s recent earnings report, where it beat on the top and bottom line. “Overall we walk away from the quarter with the core tenets of the MA bull case remaining intact,” he said, noting that Mastercard’s U.S. business is showing improved strength. Nance praised MasterCard’s “premium growth profile” and said the stock is positioned well. “With shares trading at a discount to history and at parity to Visa, we remain positive on both the underlying structural momentum in the business as well as the idiosyncratic opportunity for multiple expansion over the next year,” he said. MasterCard shares are up 15% this year. Hyatt Hotels Shares of the lodging provider chain are up almost 16% this year, but the stock still has plenty of upside, analyst Lizzie Dove said after Hyatt’s latest financial results. “There were some puts and takes to Hyatt’s results [October 29 ], but overall we came away incrementally positive, particularly on the setup into 2027,” she wrote. The bank raised its price target to $215 per share from $197, writing that management is executing well and that Hyatt has many levers left to pull. “Putting this together, there’s a lot of reasons to like H in the long term which keeps us Buy rated, notably the potential for an acceleration in Mexico, Jamaica and Middle East trends in 2027, along with an attractive long-term [net room growth] opportunity …,” she added. Expedia “EXPE’s Q3’26 earnings report highlighted a number of themes: 1) core operating metrics exceeded street expectations and management guidance, driven by solid execution across both consumer and B2B businesses; 2) B2B remained a key growth driver, supported by continued partner expansion opportunities to expand wallet share with existing partners, and ongoing investments in platform capabilities and trip breadth.” Chime “Chime reported strong results, coming in modestly ahead of their intra-quarter pre-announcement and raising its full year guidance again for the full year … Looking ahead we believe the momentum in CHYM’s business should continue into 2027, and we believe rapidly expanding margins and the tailwind of transaction profit growing roughly twice as fast as user growth should continue to drive the stock higher.” Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc “HII reported double-digit revenue growth, margins ahead of consensus and up yoy, and free cash flow ahead of consensus … We think HII can approximately double EPS 2026 to 2030. It trades at 11.0X CY27E EV/EBITDA which makes it the least expensive defense stock in our coverage. We are Buy rated on the stock and it is on the Americas Conviction List.” MasterCard “Overall we walk away from quarter with the core tenets of the MA bull case remaining intact. … .we expect improving lapping dynamics around specific client losses & other headwinds to support a reacceleration, allowing MA to re-establish its premium growth profile & the multiple to return toward historical levels … With shares trading at a discount to history & at parity to V, we remain positive on both underlying structural momentum in the business as well as idiosyncratic opportunity for multiple expansion over the next year.” Hyatt “There were some puts and takes to Hyatt’s results [ October 29 ], but overall we came away incrementally positive, particularly on the setup into 2027 … Putting this together, there’s a lot of reasons to like H in the long term which keeps us Buy rated, notably the potential for an acceleration in Mexico, Jamaica and Middle East trends in 2027, along with an attractive long-term NRG [net room growth] opportunity …”Read More
