Firefighters battled a major warehouse fire in Kyiv after an overnight Russian attack that Ukrainian authorities say involved more than forty missiles and 125 drones. The strikes damaged homes, offices, and industrial sites, while residents and volunteers cleared rubble across the capital.

Ukraine has meanwhile expanded its drone campaign, targeting Russian vessels it says are part of a sanctions-evasion ‘shadow fleet’ and striking two Wildberries warehouses in Russia. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the sites supported Russia’s military coordination and vowed to expand Ukraine’s long-range strike capabilities.
