Residents of Sinjil in the occupied West Bank say they face daily intimidation from Israeli settlers linked to a nearby illegal outpost. As reports of settler attacks increase, local Palestinians have organized neighborhood watch groups and social media alerts to monitor threats and warn residents in real time.
Unarmed volunteers patrol the town at night, saying they are filling a security vacuum in areas where Palestinian police cannot operate without coordination. Despite the risks, residents say their presence offers reassurance to a community living in fear.
