Palestinian American: West Bank house under settler siege

For days, Loui Ridi watched from Ohio via security camera as settlers gathered outside his family’s home in the occupied West Bank village of Qusra. Israeli forces say they have dismantled illegal outposts.

On Sunday, Israeli settlers went to Qusra, in the occupied West Bank, and established an illegal outpost immediately outside Palestinian homes there. Overnight, Israeli forces dismantled two illegal settler outposts around Qusra and a neighboring village. Today there have been conflicting accounts about what happened next. Palestinian residents said families were ordered out of their homes as the military operation continued. The IDF now says Qusra residents have been instructed to remain in their homes and that its troops are there to protect them.
