Pakistan is gaining global influence, mediating between major powers and strengthening ties with countries like China and Saudi Arabia. Yet domestically, it faces serious challenges.

A hybrid political system limits democratic space, with tighter control over media and dissent. The economy remains fragile, marked by debt, weak exports and widespread informality.

At the same time, a fast-growing young population lacks sufficient jobs, education and opportunities, highlighting the gap between international success and internal struggles.
