US media reports say the United States  is preparing to send a third aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East as tensions with Iran remain high.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt is expected to join the USS George HW Bush and USS George Washington by the end of November, potentially bringing more than 9,000 troops to the region.

Analysts say such a move could significantly increase US military presence, while questions remain over whether it signals escalation, deterrence, or pressure for renewed negotiations as the Iran conflict continues and midterm elections approach.
