Rare tornado whips through small Australian town

The twister was caught on camera in Ulladulla, New South Wales, damaging property and downing trees.

Several people in Ulladulla, New South Wales, filmed the moment a rare tornado came through the town on 3 October.

The Australian Bureau of Meteorology said the phenomenon was caused by “severe” thunderstorms and that it was “very uncommon to see one in such a populated place”.

The weather incident caused damage to properties and knocked over some trees, it added.
