Markets are pricing in a higher risk premium, as many traders expect that a lasting diplomatic breakthrough will be difficult, according to a note led by strategist Daan Struyven. “The Mideast and Russia-Ukraine conflicts, alongside broader geopolitical fragmentation, create high disruption risk,” Goldman said. “With the timing and location of disruptions nearly impossible to predict, our base case now includes a 1mb/d global supply disruption allowance in 2027,” it added. The investment bank raised its December forecast for Brent to $105 per barrel from $90, and $94 per barrel for WTI crude. @LCO.1 YTD mountain Brent It also lifted its 2027 average forecasts to $88 per barrel for Brent and $78 per barrel for WTI, from $80 and $73 per barrel, respectively. @CL.1 YTD mountain wti
