Israeli airstrikes have struck residential areas in Tyre, southern Lebanon, after evacuation warnings were issued.

Many residents fled within minutes, leaving neighborhoods nearly empty; others stayed despite the danger, citing ties to their homes and livelihoods.

The escalation in fighting between Israel and Hezbollah has displaced more than 1 million people, worsening an already severe humanitarian crisis and complicating efforts to reach a ceasefire.
