Roya Karimi escaped child marriage in Afghanistan, fleeing to Norway aged 17 with her small son in tow. After forging a new life for herself she was introduced to bodybuilding by her new partner. She explains to DW how it has helped her recover physically and emotionally from the abuse she suffered in her first marriage. 

She secured the European championship title in bodybuilding and now has her sights on the Dubai Muscle Show. Does she have what it takes to win internationally?
