EU releases €3.2 billion from Ukraine recovery fund

EU leaders meeting in Gdansk, Poland, have announced the release of €3.2 billion to support Ukraine’s recovery. The package aims to stabilize the economy, rebuild critical infrastructure and strengthen energy systems ahead of winter as the war with Russia continues.

Officials stressed long-term support and Ukraine’s path toward EU membership. Leaders also highlighted the need for private investment, with Kyiv expecting deals worth over €10 billion.
