- It’s that time again! “Mad Money” host Jim Cramer rings the lightning round bell, which means he’s giving his answers to callers’ stock questions at rapid speed.
Stock Chart IconStock chart iconApplied Materials’ year-to-date stock performance.
Applied Materials: “We don’t care where we bought it, we care where it’s going. This stock is now down $300 from its high. I think if you did initiate a position now, you buy a little here. I know you already have some, forget that you already have some. Think about how to be able to make it so you have a better basis. I would put some on here and then wait till it’s down 10%.”
Stock Chart IconStock chart iconVelo3D’s year-to-date stock performance.
Velo3D: “They have not had the revenue growth I thought they should have and that’s why it’s at $11. I think you have to wait for a few more solid quarters.”
Stock Chart IconStock chart iconKLA Corporation’s year-to-date stock performance.
KLA Corporation: “I think it’s a great company. It is up 40% for the year. Its price to earnings multiple is still too high. It does great intellectual property. I think if you wanted to buy some here, it’s fine. But again, I would not put a lot of it on. Why? Because these are all semiconductor capital equipment companies that I’ve been talking about this evening. They are extremely volatile.”
Stock Chart IconStock chart iconGeneral Dynamics’ year-to-date stock performance.
General Dynamics: “I wouldn’t put it all at once because remember the budget deficit is going to have to be controlled at a certain point, and it’s going to include military. My favorite in the group remains Lockheed Martin.”
