A bus crash in eastern France on Friday morning resulted in “several victims,” according to local authorities.
Education Minister Edouard Geffray said the vehicle involved was a school bus. Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot was on his way to the scene.
French broadcaster BFMTV reported that the incident happened close to the town of Lent in the department of Ain.
Lent Mayor Yves Cristin said the bus went off the road and crashed into a tree in a ditch around 7 a.m. (0600 GMT).
