The German startup Bliq is developing self-driving cars capable of transporting passengers to their destinations without active intervention, using artificial intelligence (AI).

Unlike robotaxi providers, the company focuses on vehicles for private individuals and corporate fleets equipped with a roof-mounted system of cameras, sensors and onboard computers.

Human operators continue to monitor the journeys remotely and intervene if the software requires assistance in complex situations.

Following the authorization of autonomous vehicles in Estonia, Bliq plans to launch in other countries.
