Poland is in mourning after a mass shooting in Krakow that left six people dead and 16 wounded. The attack happened in broad daylight near the city’s historic main square, sending residents and tourists fleeing in panic.
Police say the suspected gunman, who was wounded and arrested at the scene, had ammunition in his car. Investigators later found the bodies of three of his relatives at his home and are treating the case as a terrorist act linked to far-right, ultra-nationalist ideology.
The tragedy has shocked a country where mass shootings are rare.
