Russia launched one of its largest attacks on Kyiv since the start of the war , killing at least 21 people and causing damage across every district of the Ukrainian capital. Hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles forced tens of thousands of residents into subway shelters as firefighters battled blazes and rescuers searched for survivors. The assault comes as Ukraine intensifies strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, including targets in Crimea and inside Russia, with Moscow acknowledging resulting fuel shortages.
