Thank you for joining us as we bring you updates from the war in Ukraine, with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham set to co-chair a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Kyiv on Monday.
The meeting comes as Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is under mounting political pressure at home, has been urging his country’s Western allies to increase their air defense supplies amid intensifying Russian airstrikes.
Burnham, who welcomed Zelenskyy to the UK as his first international guest last month, is expected to reassert the UK’s support for Ukraine’s defense against Russia’s invasion.
Burnham’s trip, his first outside of the UK since taking office in July, coincides with Ukraine’s 35th independence day.
