Aug 10 : Albania defender Berat Djimsiti has joined newly promoted Diriyah from Serie A side Atalanta, the Saudi club announced on Monday.
The 33-year-old Djimsiti, who has 72 caps for his country, played a key role in Atalanta’s triumphant Europa League campaign in 2024 and was named Albania’s footballer of the year in 2025 and 2026.
Diriyah begin the league season by hosting AFC Champions League Elite holders Al Ahli on August 13.
