Donald Trump was forced to switch planes when returning to the United States from this week’s NATO summit in Turkey. The US president flew in a previous-model Air Force One rather than the Boeing 747 that was recently given to him by the government of Qatar. Officials said the new presidential aircraft required additional safety features, especially when flying so close to Iran, where the United States is engaged in an active military conflict.
