Survivors who have so far recovered from the rare Bundibugyo species of Ebola are bringing hope to health-care workers and other response teams scrambling to bring the outbreak under control.

The WHO says they have still not caught up. The BBC was at one of the worst affected provinces of Ituri in north-east DR Congo and filed this report from Mongbwalu.
