Ahead of the upcoming Jewish High Holidays, the Conference of European Rabbis, headed by Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, has released a new manifesto focusing on seven major political actions to be taken to support Jewish life in Europe.
Goldschmidt calls for a Europe where Jewish people can enter synagogues, community centers and schools without armed guards, saying such security measures have become normalized, even though they should not be.
