Thousands of firefighters across France and Spain are battling massive wildfires sweeping through both countries since last week. The fires have already triggered one of the continent’s biggest evacuation efforts since the second World War, with around 375,000 people forced to flee their homes. Now emergency crews are facing what seems like an impossible deadline.
