PARIS, Aug 18 : French budget minister David Amiel said on Tuesday that his ministry will use artificial intelligence tools to test government agencies’ cybsecurity vulnerabilities after a broad hacking of the country’s tax agency was disclosed last week.
The data of about 700,000 taxpayers were stolen in a cyberattack, the French Finance Ministry said on Thursday.
The chief of the French tax agency, Amelie Verdier, said her services detected another data breach on Monday. That attack is still being evaluated, she added.
