Thousands of students marched near India‘s parliament in New Delhi to protest exam irregularities, including leaked questions and technical failures, demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Police used batons, tear gas and arrests to break up the banned demonstration. The youth-led Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which emerged in response to repeated education scandals and frustration with political leaders, says young Indians are no longer willing to be blamed for government and bureaucratic failures.
