TOKYO, June 10 : Japan’s Asics Corp said on Wednesday that it was considering spinning off its Onitsuka Tiger business.
The board will discuss the matter at a meeting scheduled for later in the day, the company stated in a statement.
TV Tokyo broadcaster said on Tuesday that Asics will spin off its high-end shoe brand into a new company in a bid to accelerate decision-making and expand the business globally.
