LivestreamMenuEvery weekday, the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a “Morning Meeting” livestream at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here’s a recap of Friday’s key moments. 1. Stocks were modestly higher Friday, in an up-and-down session, as bond yields followed oil prices higher. The 10-year Treasury yield hit its highest level since January 2025. Oil jumped after Iran said it attacked tankers in the Strait of Hormuz. It’s what Jim Cramer called an “odd market.” Jim said the surge in bond yields is why early morning stock winners turned. Portfolio Director Jeff Marks said some investors could be taking profits in AI stocks following the collapse of the Situational Awareness hedge fund. That aside, Jeff said that “demand story for the group is still strong.” 2. Apple shares fell over 9% despite an earnings beat Thursday evening. The iPhone maker is getting hit by skyrocketing memory prices, which are a result of massive shortages. The problem is not expected to fade away anytime soon, forcing Apple to warn about lower margins and slower revenue growth in the current quarter. Amazon shares soared more than 14% following its fantastic quarter. The cloud and e-commerce giant raised its capital expenditure guidance but eased concerns by providing clarity on how it plans to monetize its AI investments. Jim urged investors to listen to the earnings call for CEO Andy Jassy’s breakdown of what the company is doing with its data centers. 3. Shares of Linde fell nearly 6% despite delivering a small beat Friday. The industrial gas giant’s electronics division thrived, posting 18% year-over-year growth. It also landed a major contract with Taiwan Semiconductor . Linde stock, however, was down on worries about its weakened home health care business. The company is evaluating what to do with that business. Jeff said the kind of proactive approach is exactly what investors like to hear when a unit isn’t generating the best results. Jeff and Jim both recommend that new Club members should initiate a position in Linde on Friday’s decline. Earlier on “Squawk on the Street, Jim called Linde “one of the greatest stories of our time.” 4. Stocks covered in Friday’s rapid fire at the end of the video were: Chevron , Reddit , Jersey Mike’s Subs , and Coinbase . (Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is long AAPL, AMZN, and LIN. See here for a full list of the stocks.) As a subscriber to the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer, you will receive a trade alert before Jim makes a trade. Jim waits 45 minutes after sending a trade alert before buying or selling a stock in his charitable trust’s portfolio. If Jim has talked about a stock on CNBC TV, he waits 72 hours after issuing the trade alert before executing the trade.
