LivestreamMenuEvery weekday, the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer holds a “Morning Meeting” livestream at 10:20 a.m. ET. Here’s a recap of Monday’s key moments. 1. Stocks rebounded Monday following Friday’s sharp sell-off. Technology stocks led the recovery as investors returned to beaten-down artificial intelligence names. The tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped 1.8% and the S & P 500 gained nearly 1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was roughly flat as defensive names took a pause. While remaining bullish on the AI trade , Jim Cramer cautioned against chasing the rally, particularly in stocks that have already bounced sharply. Instead, he recommended investing just a quarter of the money investors want to put to work, then waiting for more clarity before deploying the rest. Jim pointed to relatively stable Treasury yields and lower oil prices as supportive factors. But he emphasized that the market remains vulnerable to volatility. 2. Club holding Micron rebounded 4.5% on Monday alongside memory and storage stocks Western Digital and Sandisk , following a brutal week for the AI trade. The iShares Semiconductor ETF , or SOXX, entered the session on a nine-day losing streak, its longest in more than a decade. The SOXX was up 4% on Monday. Despite the recent volatility, Jim said he’s confident in Micron’s long-term prospects and sees further upside for the group. “I don’t think this move is done,” he said. 3. Intel stock got an upgrade to hold from sell at JPMorgan , which sees a more balanced risk-reward outlook after the stock’s more than 30% decline from its June high. The analysts acknowledged improved execution and competitiveness under CEO Lip-Bu Tan. They stopped short of a buy rating, citing the need for further progress on Intel’s data center CPU roadmap, AI computing strategy, and efforts to secure external foundry customers. Jim said the upgrade is an encouraging sign, but Intel still has more to prove. 4. Stocks covered in Monday’s rapid fire at the end of the video were: Cleveland-Cliffs , Estee Lauder , GE Aerospace , and Boeing . (Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust is long INTC, MU. See here for a full list of the stocks.) As a subscriber to the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer, you will receive a trade alert before Jim makes a trade. Jim waits 45 minutes after sending a trade alert before buying or selling a stock in his charitable trust’s portfolio. If Jim has talked about a stock on CNBC TV, he waits 72 hours after issuing the trade alert before executing the trade.
