Nigeria has confirmed its first Ebola case in more than a decade.

A woman who recently traveled from Uganda tested positive in Abuja.

Health authorities are tracing and monitoring people who may have been exposed.

Ebola spreads through contact with infected bodily fluids and can be deadly. Nigeria successfully contained its last outbreak in 2014 and says it is prepared to prevent further spread.
