Pakistan, US, Iran signal deal to end war close

Pakistan’s PM says a final text to end the US-Iran war has been agreed. Iran’s foreign minister wrote on X that a deal “has never been closer,” as US President Donald Trump said a deal could be signed within days.

US President Donald Trump says a deal to end the conflict with Iran could be signed within days, even claiming the war is effectively over and Tehran has agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons. The agreement is also expected to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a key global shipping route. However, Iranian officials say nothing has been finalized, despite signals that talks are close. Meanwhile, Israel — excluded from negotiations — continues military operations in Lebanon, while backing limits on Iran’s nuclear program.
