Protests in Kenya over Ebola quarantine center turn deadly

At least two people have been reported dead after protests against a planned US-backed Ebola quarantine center turned violent in Kenya. The dispute raises questions about global health cooperation.

Ebola is one of the most deadly viruses on the planet. The latest outbreak started small with a few clusters of cases in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Then it was dozens of cases, now hundreds, including in neighboring Uganda. Dozens of people have died. So how well can it be contained and is there hope of finding a vaccine to stop it?  

In Kenya, a controversial plan to build a quarantine facility for US nationals exposed to Ebola has triggered protests and legal challenges.
