Aug 24 : Senegal goalkeeper Mory Diaw has joined Al Shabab from Ligue 1 side Le Havre on a one-year deal, the Saudi Pro League club announced on Monday.
The 33-year-old started this year’s World Cup on the bench but came on as a substitute when Edouard Mendy was injured in Senegal’s group match against Norway. He then played against Iraq and in the 3-2 defeat by Belgium in the round of 32.
The PSG academy product made 30 appearances in Ligue 1 last season and has won eight caps.
Al Shabab, who signed Ghana’s Thomas Partey on a free transfer during the close season, have yet to register a win in the SPL after two games.
