LivestreamMenuSoFi Technologies is poised to rebound as it recovers from a steep 2026 sell-off, according to StoneX Financial. The investment firm initiated coverage of the financial technology stock with a buy rating. It also put a $25 price target on shares, suggesting 64% upside from Monday’s close. “SOFI’s share price is down ~40% this year while its 2Q26 adjusted net revenue grew by more than 40% [year over year],” analyst Mark Palmer said Monday in a note to clients. “A 40% price decline alone does not make a stock inexpensive, but such a drop paired with record operating progress and an underappreciated new business line does, in our view. SOFI YTD mountain Shares are down 42% in 2026. However, SoFi is likely to gain ground as it converts its top-line growth into profit, particularly after pouring a considerable amount of capital into its marketing, according to StoneX Financial. Palmer noted that the company is also likely to benefit from an accelerating member flywheel, as well as “the most advanced bank-issued stablecoin franchise in the U.S.” Wall Street shops are split on SoFi Technologies. Of the 27 analysts covering the fintech firm, 12 have a buy or strong buy rating on shares, while an equal number of analysts have a hold on it, LSEG data shows. Another three shops have a sell rating on the stock.Read More
