Kingsport, Tennessee, is a manufacturing town in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Home to generations of industrial workers, it is home to an ammunitions plant that manufactures explosives that the US military relies on. It has long been a Republican stronghold and many voters there say they still plan to support the Republican Party, despite concerns about the economy and promises of no more wars. The BBC’s Sheila Flynn went to speak to voters in the Bible Belt town.
