US President Donald Trump marked the United States‘ 250th anniversary in Washington by calling the country the “crowning achievement” of human history and praising US veterans.
In a speech delayed by storms, Trump also renewed attacks on political opponents he described as “communists” and highlighted recent US military campaigns against Iran and Venezuela.
