Ukrainian firefighter Bogdan Fetisov fled Russia’s war against Ukraine and rebuilt his life in the United States under Temporary Protected Status (TPS).
But after his work documents expired, he lost his job for more than five months, highlighting challenges many Ukrainians face despite having protection from deportation.
With the future of TPS for Ukrainians uncertain, Bogdan is urging US leaders to let Ukrainians remain in the country while the war continues, saying he wants to give back by serving his community and paying taxes.
