With the Mid-Autumn Festival coming up in just a few weeks, those looking to nom on tasty mooncakes or simply soak in the festive spirit can head to Takashimaya.

Featuring 61 brands, Takashimaya’s Mid-Autumn Festive Celebration 2026 runs until Sep 25 at Takashimaya Square, Basement 2.

Here, visitors can look forward to a wide assortment of mooncakes from the likes of luxury hotels and heritage brands, as well as confectioneries and decorations.

Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, for instance, will be debuting its inaugural mooncake collection: Beneath The Rainforest Moon.

The collection features four wildlife-inspired flavours: Pangolin (white lotus paste with single yolk), Macaw (pandan coconut with melon seeds), Panda (rose tea, wolfberries, and lychee), and Gibbon (Owa black coffee, white lotus, and melon seeds).

Those looking for an uber-decadent mooncake can consider the lava custard pineapple mooncake by Orig.Co which features a molten salted egg custard centre, surrounded by pineapple filling made from Taiwanese pineapples.

Other treats you can look forward to include durian and ice cream mooncakes, tea sets and even halal-certified confectioneries.

DBS and POSB cardholders can also look forward to a slew of promotions throughout the event, including vouchers and tea baubles.
