Two people have been killed and at least five others have been injured in a shooting at the Seattle Center, near the city’s landmark Space Needle.

Witnesses described the pops of gunfire and feeling confused, before seeing crowds run towards them.

The public have been urged to stay away from the area, with a significant number of police still present at the scene.
